Hello Encino Tennis Players and Parents,
I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about my 24-hour cancellation policy going into 2025. First, let me share the good news that I received fewer short-term cancellations in 2024 than in any previous year! Thank you so much!
Despite the good news, we still have work to do. This year, slightly less than 10% of my bookings cancelled each week, and most of those spots went unfilled despite my best efforts. I recognize that some percentage of cancellations are unavoidable, but I have to be strict that only legitimate medical and personal emergencies that occur on the day of the session are valid. If you have to cancel for any other reason, please do so with at least 24-hours notice. You can click the following link to see my full 24-hour cancellation policy.
As you can imagine, I have friendly, personal relationships with all the players and parents that I see. In an effort to remain on good terms with everyone, I often forgive short-notice cancellations. I’d like this memo to serve as a friendly reminder that my service as a coach is not limited to time spent on the court. I spend a significant amount of time scheduling, billing, and accommodating everyone’s unique requests. Taking these factors into account, please understand if I request payment for short notice cancellations.
Most cancellations are preventable with good communication, and I promise to do my part in communicating with each of you as well as I can. Thank you all for your time. Please let me know if you have questions.
Best regards,
Eitan Fattal
