Hello Encino Tennis Players,

I hope your summer has been going well. I want to inform everyone that this year’s scheduling, particularly for the fall, will be more challenging than usual. I’m excited to share that I’m embarking on a new business venture in court resurfacing. While I’m not fully stepping away from coaching or my commitment to my players, this new responsibility will inevitably impact my availability in ways that are still unfolding. My partners and I are aiming for our first project to begin in early October, though the exact date isn’t yet established.

Alongside my new career developments, the back-to-school season means many students will be adjusting their schedules from late August through mid-September. Some of you may be able to continue your regular timeslots, while others will request changes due to new after-school activities. Regretfully, I expect that a few players will need to seek coaching elsewhere, but I kindly ask that you wait until I have a good sense of my upcoming scheduling before exploring other options.

This transitional period will be complicated. I will take time to talk to every player and parent about all the details and variables. I will do my best to be transparent about my decisions, and I ask that you share your scheduling requests as soon as possible to help me get an early sense of the fall schedule.

As always, thank you so much for your years of support. As overwhelmed as I feel at the moment, I am excited for this new chapter.
